Rather than abandoning the product altogether, Robin opted for a more tailored solution. The original unit was returned, and the same CallToU system was reordered—this time with two base receivers.

The system shifted from “adequate” to genuinely supportive, aligning with the original intent of safety, responsiveness, and peace of mind.

A Minor Packaging Oversight

There was, however, a small but noteworthy detail worth mentioning. Upon opening the box, Robin noticed that the self-adhesive pads and screws intended for mounting the call buttons were missing.

While this did not undermine the functionality of the system itself, it did introduce a moment of inconvenience. Mounting hardware plays a subtle yet important role, especially for users who rely on fixed placement for accessibility. Such components are easy to overlook, but their absence is immediately felt.
